Our aerial video platform allows us to capture incredible footage from far above the action.
It wasn’t too long ago that the only way to capture quality footage from the air was by using an expensive mount to attach a camera to a helicopter. Sure, it was something big-budget commercial and movie productions could afford, but smaller businesses? Not so much. Fortunately, advances in technology have now enabled us to affordably capture breathtaking 4K footage from far above the action. Aerial video provides an unsurpassed way for you to market commercial and residential real estate developments, provide virtual tours of golf courses and other outdoor destinations, or capture the energy of live events.
What platform do you use?
We utilize a couple of different platforms, both produced by DJI. One is the Inspire 1 which features a built-in 4K camera (that means it has twice as many pixels as 1080p video). The other is a modified DJI Phantom II with a GoPro Hero4 Black camera, which also shoots in 4K.
Is it safe?
Safety is our number one priority when we’re filming from the air. For example, if radio signal is lost, built-in GPS technology will automatically guide our drones back to the takeoff location.
How long can it stay in the air?
Our drones can remain airborne for around 15 minutes on a single fully-charged battery. We always carry plenty of extra batteries.
Is it possible to edit drone footage together with footage shot on a standard camera?
Definitely. We frequently have clients request that we incorporate drone footage into their videos.
